Integration of ATMs into interbank networks

Challenge

The challenge we were given was to ensure that the introduction of new ATM equipment into interbank networks complied with certification requirements and achieved complex integration with banking systems and the national payments infrastructure.

Proposal

The solution involved Goodpartner’s participation in the integration and certification of Hyosung ATMs, ensuring the technological adaptation necessary to guarantee interoperability with banking systems and payment platforms.

Result

Today, thousands of ATMs operate on the Multibanco network in Portugal, and hundreds of units are operational in Angola, integrated into their respective interbank infrastructures and supporting critical banking operations.

Electronic payments in vending machines

Challenge

In this project, operators of vending machines faced challenges in accepting electronic payments due to the variety of communication protocols used by the machines and the need to ensure compatibility with payment networks.

Proposal

To meet this challenge, Goodpartner integrated the unattended payment terminal Spectra T300 U into vending machines and developed the necessary adaptations to support different variants of the communication protocols used by various manufacturers and models. The terminal was certified on the SIBS network and integrated with the operator's remote management and monitoring platform.

Result

As a result, today thousands of vending machines accept electronic payments via this solution, enabling virtually universal payments and providing operators with a solution that is easy to install and cost-effective.

Integration of POS systems in a national supermarket chain and acceptance of the Social Card

Challenge

In a project carried out for a large supermarket chain, it was necessary to integrate the payment terminals with the cash register system to enable payments via the Multibanco network, ensuring fast checkout and compatibility with different payment methods. In addition, it was necessary to implement acceptance of the Cartão Social (used in social assistance programs and requiring specific adaptations in payment systems).

Proposal

Goodpartner's intervention involved integrating the terminals with the POS system and developing the necessary adaptation to support the Cartão Social. The solution was certified by SIBS, ensuring compliance with the payment network's technical requirements.

Result

After deployment, the solution was installed across the supermarket chain’s national network, with hundreds of terminals operating in stores throughout the country.

Payment integration for a nationwide network of service points

Challenge

For a nationwide network of payment points, it was necessary to accept electronic payments at thousands of establishments across the country. However, installing payment terminals at every location represented a significant investment.

Proposal

To overcome this limitation, Goodpartner developed a solution that allows payments to be processed through the web application used by operators. The application communicates with the platform's central server, which interacts with payment terminals certified by Goodpartner to execute transactions on the SIBS payment network.

Result

With this architecture, it became possible to make electronic payments available at thousands of service points without the need to install terminals at each location.
